On a day-to-day basis, the class runs under the policies of Matakana School’s Board of Trustees and the teachers are answerable to the School Principal. However, the Trust itself, is independent of Matakana School and is responsible for facilitating the provision of Montessori education including the curriculum, teachers, training and professional development, specialised materials and equipment, managing enrolments and gathering term donations to make this all possible.
