Wearable Arts

Five of our eleven children entered the school's Wearable Arts Show this year and the whole class enjoyed the experience.  Petra received third place and Sophie was awarded first place, in the Year Two category.  Ellie was among twelve students, chosen  to represent the school at Ascension Vinyard's Wearable Arts Show to be held in August.  Well done to all concerned!

Junior Trip to the Honey Centre

On 11 June the junior syndicate went to the Honey Centre at Warkworth. The children enjoyed an informative and entertaining talk about how important bees are and how they make honey. All of the children then had a turn of making a wax candle and sampling some of the delicious honeys.
