Field Trip to the Whangateau Beach and Estuary
The children joined the junior syndicate to explore the Whangateau habitat. We compared the main beach to Horseshoe Island. We looked for living creatures and items that did not belong. After studying the mangroves we created some amazing sand art. We managed a quick bite to eat before hopping back on the bus with the other classes.
