Does my child need to leave the Unit when he/she turns nine?

No. The Unit caters for children from the age of six until the end of their primary education. Once numbers require it, a second class will be opened for children aged 9+. Until then, all children will be taught in Jane Watson's class. This model is used very successfully in other primary schools with Montessori Units throughout New Zealand.
